it was a story of a high school girl who is always being bullied by her peers. the reason behind it was simply because her family did something wrong to the whole village in the past. and now, shes being isolated and mistreated by everyone in her village. she would get beatings from the boys in her school every now and then and nobody would actually stop and lend her a helping hand. she was all alone, this girl. she never knew what it was like to be happy again.

then one day, a boy from the city transferred to her school to recuperate from his illness (blindness). he then met this "spirit" whom made him believe that he had recovered from his blindness. with that, the boy protected the girl, helped the girl fit back into her village and made everyone accept her for who she is. when he confessed his feelings to the girl, the village head came and told him that his mother died because the girl's family forced her into committing suicide in the past. the guy wasnt angry at first because he felt that what the girl's family did had nothing to do with her.

however, after cooping his feelings up for a period of time, he erupted, unleashed all his anger on the girl and hit her like how the guys from her school did in the past. then, the boy's condition deteriorated because he was overly upset with this incident and he had to go back to the city. the girl followed him because she wanted to take care of him. then one day, while they were waiting for the train to pass, (in japan, their train sort of passes the street and they'll have to wait for the train to pass before they can cross the "road") a little boy ran out to the track to collect his ball. the girl tried to save the little boy and ran after him. at that very moment, the guy regained his eyesight and he saw the girl being ran over by the train (like how his mother commited suicide when he was young).....

and he asked God,
Dear God,
during my moments of joy and happiness,
You were there for me.
however, when i needed you most,
why were You not there for me?

years past and the boy went back to the village where he met the girl.. one fine day, he was in the fields when he met the "spirit" that he met earlier on again. the "spirit" then told him this, "catch her properly this time and dont lose her again." and with that, the girl came back to life. (:

& God replied;
"I had always been by your side.
when you were feeling helpless, in pain, anguish, and tears,
I walked whilst carrying you on my back. "
